MARCH for the Earth Community Volunteer Day


Epsilon Pi Omega will join the Queens Botanical Garden's 2nd Annual MARCH for the Earth Community Volunteer Day.

Led by QBG's knowledgeable staff, volunteers will participate in a variety activities from seeding to weeding while learning the importance of green gardening and the value of community involvement.

Sunday, March 25, 2012  10:00am - 1:00pm

  • Participants will start the day with light refreshments and then work in the Garden on specific projects suitable to the season.
  • Participants should dress appropriately: sneakers or boots, layered clothing and work gloves.
  • At the conclusion of the work portion of the day, QBG will lead a procession, marching from the Garden across the College Point Boulevard Bridge into Flushing Meadows Corona Park to gather at the Unisphere as a symbol of peace and unity.
